Here’s what happened:

The Australian athlete who tested positive to COVID-19 ahead of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games on the weekend has now tested negative twice.

The first RAAF flight carrying vital food and supplies to the flood-wracked town of Coober Pedy in outback South Australia has taken off from Adelaide.

Victoria’s daily COVID-19 cases continued to fall, with 10,053 new infections recorded today as students returned to classrooms.

Queensland recorded 7462 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths.

While a further 27 people with COVID-19 died in New South Wales as the state clocked 13,026 new infections.

Parents of primary school students in New South Wales are being offered a back-to-school sweetener, with the state government offering vouchers to cover before-and after-school care.
